How to Style a Linen Outfit for the Heatwave

July 12, 2018

Song of Style

California is in the midst of a heatwave so linen is my best friend right now. Also, it’s the best fabric to keep me cool while I sit under the AC vent. I wore a Levi’s white button-down shirt (similar here, here, and affordable version here) to the office for meetings. The light and airy fabric continued as my outfit theme.Since it was so hot for pants, but I needed to keep it professional at work I wore Nanushka linen wide leg pants (similar here, here, and affordable version here). I highly recommend opting for linen pants in the warmer months. It keep your look clean and chic, but you don’t have to sacrifice being too hot for comfort. My bag is the Senreve mini Maestra bag (in more colors here and in a larger size here). These bags are made in the same factory as Céline so you know it’s a quality handbag that is made to last. Plus, this handbag can transform into a backpack! My Jimmy Choo cat eye sunglasses (similar here and affordable version here) blocked the sun rays perfectly. To complete my look, I wore 8 Other Reasons earrings (hoop version here, square version here, and similar here, affordable version here). 8 Other Reasons is a Los-Angeles based brands that offer high quality jewelry pieces that won’t leave you crying when you look at your bank account. Also, I opted for my Céline initial necklace instead of my Chloé initial necklace (affordable version here). To be honest, I’m a sucker for custom jewelry, but I’m sure that didn’t surprise you!Levi’s White Button Down Shirt (similar here, here, and affordable version here) Nanushka Linen Wide Leg Pants (similar here, here, and affordable version here) Senreve Mini Maestra Bag (in more colors here and in a larger size here) Jimmy Choo Cat Eye Sunglasses (similar here and affordable version here) 8 Other Reasons Earrings (hoop version here, square version here, and similar here, affordable version here) Céline Initial Necklace (similar here and affordable version here) Turn on your JavaScript to view content
